Thailand - Chiang Mai
| To get to the first hill tribe camp, we first took a 1 hour elephant ride up the mountain. These animals appear to do what they like and i cant imagine it being a very efficient mode of transport. They can however negotiate some tricky terrain, which can make this ride kinda scary. |  |

Trekking in the hills surrounding Chiang Mai. This area was quite beautiful and its a shame we were not able to do more trekking. Many people on the tour were complaining of asthma problems, which they solved by using their puffer then smoking another cigarette. |  |

Here i am sipping back on an A&W Root Beer float. This is something they dont have in Australia, but should. This is a small size float drawn from a tap and served in a cold glass. |
